The terms built-up and built-in area is used pretty by agents. Can someone help explain the difference? Does both terms include roof terrace, car porch area in their computation?

What ahout "voids", ie the "empty air space" created by high ceilings? In such cases, you can look down from the 2nd floor into the first floor living area? ie, the floor space that could have been build?
