The recent price drops gives us an uncertainty on whether sell our existing house immediately or keep waiting until 2016, as i will receive a new booked house in 2016. Sir, I had book a premium flat at Queenstown (Skyville -Dawson) on 2010 and probable date to receive the flat on march 2016, but i have to sell my existing HDB flat (Blk 153, Yishun st 11- Yishun) once receive the new flat. My worry is current rate of my yishun flat is $325,000 but is it possible to sell the flat in same price range in 2016. 1. Please advice whether sell the existing flat or keep stay until 2016? 2. Is potential buyers will be available , If put on sale on 2016 ? 3. If available what will be the price range of my 3 room HDB house in 2016?

Afternoon Sarangapani, Assuming that you sell your unit today for 330k and wait it out for 2 years in a rental unit of $2300 per month, you would have utilized at least $55k. If the housing price in Yishun were to drop by $55k in 2016, which is 17% difference, I would believe you will not be the only one who needs to panic.
