Hi Zuraini, the measures that the Government has taken does not truly help to lower asking prices.

The COV and valuation is determined solely by market supply and demand. If there are NO ONE who wants to pay high COV, the sellers can ask for high COV and not get them.

Yet, there ARE people who will pay high COV. The property market is quite independent from the little measures the Government can take, and it will spur on due to market demand.

There is no signs that the COV and valuation will drop (unless we are hoping for a worldwide financial disaster, or stronger Government intervention in the market).
