Hi there, thanks for writing to us on AskGuru.

A condominium that is sold with tenancy means the unit will be occupied by a tenant under the Tenancy Agreement ends. This transfers the rights of the current landlord to the new owner until the end of the agreement.

You can refer to our Rental Tenancy Agreement guide here: https://www.propertyguru.com.sg/property-guides/understanding-lease-agreements-in-singapore-10363

Do note, an HDB flat cannot be sold with tenancy. In such a scenario, the landlord will have to compensate you for the unused lease term.

Hope this answers your question.

Best Regards,

Is this a resale HDB or is this a private property?

For HDB, it will be sold without tenancy.
This means you will need to find an alternative frankly speaking..

For private, it can be sold with tenancy.
