Successfully ballot for a BTO and ready late 2027. no CPF loan :(
Given a booking slot in January
If I will to reach 56 yr of age( if new flat ready 2027) and when can I sell the flat and have it fully paid off ?

Hi,

Thanks for your question.
As long as you purchased a HDB, there is MOP of 5 years that locks you in before you can sell. The time of the 5 years starts when you collect your keys. While private such as condo or landed you can sell anytime but why people sell after 3 years is because they would like to avoid the seller stamp duties. Let me know if you need more help.

Do you mean you are not taking a loan for this upcoming BTO that is likely to TOP in 2027? And you are not using CPF for this purchase? I am not so clear about your questions. To sell a HDB, you will be required to fulfill the 5 years minimum occupation period. As to have it fully paid off, I am not sure what you are implying.
