Whether you can retain the HDB flat depends on your citizenship status, your wife's residency status, and HDB's eligibility rules.

If you are a Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) and your wife is holding a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP), an LTVP holder is generally not eligible to be an owner of an HDB flat. HDB will assess your eligibility based on your specific circumstances.

May I also ask if you have any children or if your father is a Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) or Singapore Citizen (SC)? This information may affect the available options.
