some advice needed, would it be better upgrade from 4rm to 5rm n pay cash about $150K (cov 30k cheap) or keep the 4rm n buy a small condo in today property enviroment, n what will happen in near n far future?

Dear sir/madam,

I am pretty sure you have read the newspapers today on page A8 which was reported that more than 3 developers have tendered for a piece of land in Kim Tian for above $1000psf, which is almost $100psf more than what analysts have predicted. This shows that developers are still confident of the housing market. What will happen in the near or far future, I believe no one will be able to predict.

In your situation, I believe that the more important considerations will be how comfortable are you with the financial commitment of having 2 properties and servicing 2 loans, of which the 2nd property will be subjected to ABSD and lower LTV.
