Sir,
Me & my wife are Singapore citizen, we bought a flat from market and got subsidies grant from CPF.Lived there for 2 year. After that I lost my job and we moved overseas. From last 3 year we are staying overseas and I am renting the appartment.
I intend to sell HDB and buy a private house in Singapore. Kindly advise how can this be achieved.

Afternoon Edwin,

Since you have utilized the housing grant for your unit, your MOP required is 5 years. You have stayed there for 2 years but applied to rent out the entire unit for 3 years. Thus, under official record, you have not fulfilled your MOP. Therefore, you are currently not eligible to sell your HDB unit. It would be wise to fulfill your MOP before moving forward.
