Yes, they can purchase under "Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme".

Do take note that the Foreign Spouse will have to dispose off her overseas property latest within 6 months upon the HDB flat purchase.

Hi,

1) I'm putting in my opinion because I saw there are 2 different opinions offered.
2) You are eligible to purchase a resale HDB flat under the Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme.
3) The only condition is your spouse must dispose of the overseas property within 6 months upon key collection. Of course, your spouse may dispose it now if you already decided to buy an HDB flat.
4) You are not eligible for any grant since your spouse owned overseas property.
5) If you wish to apply for a grant in your purchase, you will have to wait out for a period of 30 months after your spouse sold the overseas property before being eligible for the grant.
6) If there is a valid reason that your spouse is unable to sell the overseas property but you still want to buy a resale HDB flat. You may put up your appeal via the feedback channel before proceeding with your buying plan:
