Yes you may purchase a HDB resale although you might not be eligible for a HDB loan if your children is not one of the buyer (below 21 years of age) and ABSD of 5% for SPR do apply. You may take a bank loan. I am specialised in HDB transactions and have assisted a couple of SPR buyers like yourself in securing a HDB resale.
