Asked by
Seller of my current HDB resale keeps requesting for extensions. We already allowed her the 3months extension after sale completion. We agreed to have her stay longer, but with compensation. But when we told the seller we wont allow any more extension, the seller became non-responsive. No agreement or TA was produced as everything was just a personal arrangement between us two parties. What can i do in this situation? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You may like to consult your own agent.

You may need to speak to a lawyer to discuss on how you can evict the seller legally. Prior to that, you may wish to visit the unit directly and make a police report to see if this works before engaging a lawyer.

I have always mentioned it doesn't matter what is signed in the agreement, it is the enforcement part that is the headache when 1 party does not comply to the agreement. Read More
