(Scenario 2)I am Single SPR, my friend is also SPR, my friend can occupier for above scenario? and Can I buy resale flat?

Hi,

Unfortunately no, the only way SPRs can buy a resale hdb is to form a married couple nucleus, and both SPRs must hold SPR status for 3 years before they are eligible. Your current only option is a private condo. Thanks and hope to assist with your purchase further.

I am afraid to inform you that you are not eligible to purchase resale HDB under the given two scenarios.

You are eligible to purchase a resale HDB with a singaporean spouse or SPR spouse (but both of you must fulfill SPR status of 3 years respectively).

If you want to purchase as a single, you have to obtain citizenship and be at least 35 years old in order to do so.

If not, you will have to dip into private condos/ apartments.
