Do you know the procedures to renting out your HDB and buying a condo? Are you aware of all the legal terms, documentation, market pricing etc?
If you are not 100% certain, it is advisable to get an agent to assist you. Commission is only payable for having an agent rent out your HDB but no commission payable to the agent for assisting you to buy a condo.
