Regarding MSR for EC, my partner is currently a fulltime student and has no prior employment history. Based on my current monthly income of about 5k, does that mean i will not be able to buy an EC since the msr is 30%?

Does banks give any special consideration if one of them is a fulltime student?

If i were to choose deferred payment for EC, by the time she graduates, she would be working already. is there any chance banks will allow the loan to pass?

Hi,

Why not i get a banker to talk to you regarding the loan issue. I believe they can give you a better answer.

Dear sir,

It is unlikely that there will be any special considerations for your partner as the borrowers are deemed to be taking higher than normal risk in lending to you without proper income to facilitate the monthly instalments. Unless you may have collaterals like having certain amount of deposit with the bank, my understanding is that some banks may recognise this deposit and will be able to disburse loan based on this, but still, check with a banker first for a confirmed answer.
