Hi Ranjan,

While you are staying in your rental unit.
You can carry on with your search of a low COV unit.
Those units are hard to come by, but not impossible. For example, I came across and VIEWED a unit 3 weeks ago at tampines looking to sell at value. Location was pretty near MRT as well. Such units do come by, but it takes effort.

Good luck.

Hi Ranjan,
Yes,you are right. It is now difficult for PR'S to purchase re-sale flats at west side.
COV's have risen very much high through out the entire zone.It is going to take a some time to stabilise but no one can be sure when that can happen. This goes to HDB flat prices as well.
If you really can bring up your COV affordiability it will be worth the cost. You could have already spent $21,600 say if you staying in a 2+1 unit with a rental of $1800 for a year.
Plese do also consider other factors like CPF balance and other cash portion involved before purchasing.
