ownership transfer: My wife and i currently own the 5rm HDB flat has past the MOP. We would like to transfer the ownership of the flat my parent-in-law so that we can purchase a Condo with 80% loan. But their CPF is only about 80K and the outstanding loan still has about 150K. Is this possible?

Evening VK,

Every SC or PR are only allowed to have one HDB unit. Since your parent-in-law have an existing unit, they can only buy over your property with the intention of selling their own unit, after key collection.
Alternatively, you can either sell away your HDB and use proceed for the purchase of private property or have your HDB fully paid before proceeding to purchase your second property.

FYI.
