Afternoon Andy,

Upon selling your current property, the outstanding loan will be settled from your selling price. If the amount is not enough, you will be required to top up the difference. If such case happens, you will be suffering CPF loses. As to how much loan you can get based on your current new job, it's subjected to the individual financial institute approval, based on your current income status and supporting documents.

Hi Andy,

After the sale of your current HDB flat, the outstanding loan will be deducted from the selling price. I can get bankers to contact you to check the amount of loan you can get as they would be in a much better position to advise. There are certain banks which can do with 2 months payslip + employment letter. Do feel free to contact me for a detailed discussion.

Hi Andy,

I supposed this is your 2nd question posted on property guru. With the recent regulations introduced by MAS, it is encouraged that you speak to a banker to get a more accurate picture on your loan eligibility as we, as real estate salesperson can only do an estimate. Your loan process maybe affected by your recent job change therefore as per earlier, please get in touch with a banker for professional advise.
