Good morning buyer,

ABSD stands for additional buyer's stamp duty. It's a stamp duty that SPR household has to pay for their residential property purchase in Singapore.

While val means valuation. You need a valuation report in order to obtain a mortgage or CPF housing grant if applicable.

Btw are you going to purchase a resale HDB with your SPR spouse? Can you share with me when will both of you fulfil the 3 years of SPR status?

It will be good to start househunting 1 month before you fulfil your 3 years.
