Non Citizen Family Scheme - HDB Resale

I am a single Singapore Citizen under 35 years old, planning to purchase HDB resale flat under "Non Citizen Family Scheme".

Understand that I need to list both of my parents as occupiers and only one of them needs to have a long term visit pass. My two younger siblings (working) will stay in the same flat as well.

May I know the the household income used to calculate the eligible hdb/bank loan will be based on my salary only? Or my parents' or siblings' salary will be included as well? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

As you will be the sole owner of the flat, only your income is used for loan assessment. If your siblings are at least SPR, they can be put in as co-owners. As co-owners, their income can be used for loan assessment.

Hi,

1) Your assumption on eligibility is correct. Ensure their pass have a validity period of at least 6 months from the date of issue.
2) The household income is based on all personnel (including occupier) living in the house. This is to determine the eligibility for HDB loans and grants.
3) To determine how much housing loan you are entitled to is based on only the owner and co-owners.
4) Anyway you are not eligible for any grants based on your descriptions.
