1) The Timeline and payment of BTO are as follow:
(a) Booking of flat => Option fee = $2k

(b) 6 months after (a),
Signing of Agreement for Lease =>
(i) downpayment = 15% of purchase price
(ii) Stamp duty = ~3% of purchase price
(iii) legal fees = will have to check with the HDB ~ a few hundred

(c) 4~6 yrs time after Signing of Agreement, meaning your unit receive TOP:
Key collection =>
(i) Remaining balance = 85% of purchase price
(ii) survey fee = less than $500
