Good evening,

It will be best to seek professional legal advice on this matter.

Currently my wife and I are also in such ownership arrangement in which i am holding 1% as well.

Hope my sharing helps in aiding in your enquiry. May I know how can I value add further in your property needs?

Best regards,

YT Tan

Hi,

I would be most glad to assist you further and please feel free to let me know if you need any assistance. Have a good day ahead. By the way, in this case you may be in a losing end if break up will to happen and the property to be sold. So you may like to seek legal advice on such an issue first before any purchase is made with the help of an agent.

You will need to work out this arrangement with lawyer for such cases. There are many news reports indicating on such disputes where sales proceeds are not necessary apportioned based on the ownership ratio, but based on the monetary contributions. I am sure that to go into such 99-1 arrangement, there are rationales behind it therefore do weigh out if this should be the best way forward. Read More
