Need some advise and understanding regarding the policy of 50% cash proceed after i sold off my first HDB flat. Below is my situation.

My current flat is my 1st subsidised HDB flat and is fully paid using cpf without taking any HDB or bank loan. If i sell my current 1st HDB flat and buy a 2nd new/resale flat by taking HDB loan, will HDB takes 50% of my sales profit to offset my HDB loan even though this is my 1st time taking HDB loan.

If yes, will they deduct all from my CPF first before they take from my profit? Thanks.

Hi Annie,

The 50% cash proceeds rule only applies when you are taking 2nd HDB loan. Thus you are not affected by this rule should you sell your existing flat and purchase your next flat taking your 1st HDB loan.

Please call me at 98628691  to discuss further.

Thanks.

Afternoon Annie,

Since your current HDB unit is purchase with CPF, you did not utilize your first HDB loan entitlement. With the upcoming purchase which you will be using HDB loan, it's considered as your first loan. Therefore, you are not required to fork out 50% cash profit from your current unit's sales to finance the the upcoming purchase.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.

Hi Annie ,

You are not subjected to the 50% sales proceed rule. You are free to purchase the next flat as a first timer under HDB Housing Loan.

No obligation. You might want know more about the financial plan for the selling and how I can help you to do a restructuring for your property and help you own a private property instead or at the same time own 1 investment and 1 own stay private property at the same time.

Please call me for a non obligation discussion.

Thank you : )
