Before we proceed further, we will also need to know if you are eligible for any scheme for resale flat? For example, if you are purchasing under your sole name, it will mean single scheme where you must be 35 years old and above.

Thereafter, since this is your first time, you will be eligible for grants.

Assuming you meet this criteria, we will need to determine how much cash you have, not just for purchasing the flat but also for future where you need to renovate and purchase of furniture.

You will need to consider all these before deciding whether to go ahead with purchasing a flat.
