Hi,

Y0u and your fiancee wish to buy a new BTO flat from HDB? Then, you need to submit your application during the BTO launch exercise. After the closing date, all applications are checked and balloted their Queue positions. Then, invited to HDB for flat selection. Due to the popularity of the BTO exercises, you may or may not be successful in securing a flat. If you are not successful, then you have to apply for the next BTO launch exercise.

Both of you can apply under the Fiance/Fiancee Scheme. You may also wish to apply online for your HLE (Home Loan Eligibility).

Hi,

1) Since both of you are not married at the moment, you are eligible under the Fiance/fiancee scheme.
2) Your fiancee is still studying full time, you should apply for a deferred income assessment. This allowed you to carried out your income assessment approximately 3 mths before flat completion for an uncompleted flat.

3) You can also make use of the Staggered Downpayment Scheme and pay the required downpayment in 2 installments. 50% of the downpayment is payable when signing the Agreement for Lease, which is around 4 mths after flat booking. This should lessen your load in the purchase process.
The other 50% is payable at the key collection when the booked flat is completed. You may find detail (section 31) under the link below:

Yes you can apply under the Fiance Scheme.
HDB will assess your financials twice. Once on application and another time nearer to when collecting your keys.

Considering you will have to wait at least 6 to 7 years, I don't think you would have much problem. Both of you may already be working full time then..
