My wife (SC) has an HDB in her name (loan and all) still within MOP, am I (SPR) able to buy an overseas property under only my own name before her MOP is up on her HDB? Or being married, does that affect her HDB and we will need to wait for the MOP before I buy an overseas property?

Morning Simon,

If you spouse have purchase the unit under single scheme prior to your union, you are eligible to purchase overseas property under your own name.
