My wife and I have decided to downgrade from our current HDB Executive Apartment flat to either a 4 or 5 room HDB flat before we turn 55 years old. Reason being we want to use up all the money that will go back into our CPF accounts to purchase the smaller flat. This so that the cash acquired from the sale of our EA flat need not be expended.
My question is, will the Silver Scheme that our Finance Minister is talking about affect my plan?
