my son who is single and 35 year old, wishes to buy a 5 room resale flat near my home, if the area we are staying goes for enblock, will he be entitle to a new relocation unit as me and same size?

Evening Irene,

Based on the context that single SC, aged 35 or greater, are eligible to purchase BTO 2 room flat in non-matured estate, it's definitely possible for your wish to come through. However do note that if both of you are currently staying in matured estate, then your son will be required to appeal his case to get through, subjected to approval.

    Hi morning Mike Lim, do you mean my son has got to get approval from HDB to confirm before he buys the resale unit? At present my son is staying with me at Boon Lay Drive, the flats here are more than 30yrs old but so far it is comparatively cheap.
