my sisiter passed away without any wills, her estate was handle by the lawyers ( 2 room HDB flat), I was appointed the administrator to handle the estate. May I know can I transfer her HDB flats to my brother, currently who stay with me? once transfered, can my brother rent out the HDB flats and still stay with me?

Morning Thomas,

Being an administrator, you are eligible to transfer the estate to your brother, if there's no contest on that decision. Once your brother take over the unit, I would say that he have to stay in the unit for 5 years MOP.
