Hi Tom,

You will only be eligible to purchase a resale HDB 15 month after your partner disposed off her property in her home country, unless both of you are 55 years old or above, then you will be eligible to purchase a 4 room or smaller resale HDB immediately after disposing the property.

Hi Tom,

1) Once you are married, both your and your partner's names must be in the HDB purchase application.
2) There is a wait-out period you need to observe as follows after selling:
(a) 15 months: only eligible to apply for a bank loan. No grants are available/
(b) 30 months: eligible for both bank and HDB loans. Grants are available if eligible.
