My parents will like to sell their 5 rm flat and downgrade to a smaller unit.
What is the levy that they have to pay if they are to buy a resale unit in the market?

Afternoon Ms. Ho,

Levy payable is only applicable if your parents are selling a subsidized unit and purchasing second subsidized unit of same or smaller size. For your parent's case, it's selling of HDB unit to purchase resale unit, hence no levy is required.
