My parents intend to sell off our 5rm HDB flat and use the proceeds to downgrade to a 3rm flat. As we will need the money from the sale before we can buy, can we move out of the 5rm and move into the 3rm at the same time? Or do we have to stay somewhere else first (which was what happened to my friend's family)?
