My parents have a BTO queue number. Before we choose the flat, could someone advise: 1) What documents are needed for flat selection? 2) When we applied for the HFE letter, the ‘loan’ option wasn’t available. Can my retired father and part-time working mother apply for a loan when selecting the flat at HDB hub? 3) Can my retired father use his CPF for payment, or could we check this with HDB during selection? Thank you!

It is likely that your parents' income are not recognised for the assessment for loan, very likely also due to age. For CPF usage, does your father still have any funds in his OA for the purchase? If he requires to use his RA for the financing of this purchase, then he will require CPF board to approve for the funds to be released. Read More
