Asked by
My parents do not co-own the property we are living in; it is solely owned by my father.

Given that my mother has never used her name to buy a HDB flat, would my mother and I be allowed to purchase one?

Hi Confused,

The answer is no. A married couple can only own 1 HDB flat, given that your father had already owned 1, your mother is not allowed to buy even she don't co-owned the current HDB.

You can proceed to buy on your own if you are 35 years old and above.

Hope that I had answered your question.
