Do you mean that she needs to sell of her current property such that she has the funds to proceed with taking over the keys for the BTO which is ready?     Yes, my mum is given 6 months to sell her current property before she could actually collect the keys & YES we would want the sales from the current HDB to fund the BTO.

Afternoon Ms. Ellis,

You will have to check with HDB sales department if they can delay the key collection date for the BTO and do the necessary paperwork for contra on the sales of your mother's current resale unit to facilitate the purchase of the BTO.
