My lawyer told me that based on the amended court order, I have to get a valuation report and send via registered mail to my ex-husband as he is given an option to buy over my part share of the flat within 2 months from the date he receives the valuation report. In the event after 2 months if he did not exercise his option to purchase then 1 can soley sell the flat in the open market.
According to Mr Choo of HDB resale flat I do not need a valuation report from HDB, I can engage a private valuer to prepare a valuation report and send via registered mail to my ex-husband as the valuation report will not be valid to HDB or be used to determine the value to buy over your part share of the flat. The purpose is just to comply with the judge's order.
Any valuer interested to do a valuation report for my flat?
