Good afternoon! Both of you are not eligible for resale HDB purchase as you have to be a PR who has fulfilled status of 3 years first. In this situation, both of you can turn to private property but do bear in mind, the purchase will be subject to 15% ABSD if it purchased under both name. If solely under your husband will be 5% ABSD. Hope it helps! Cheers! Afternoon, For PR to purchase HDB resale unit, you have to be married to another SPR or SC to be eligible. For your case, it would be good to apply for your SPR status and wait out for 3 more years before the purchase. FYI Mike Lim 96929209  m52i@yahoo.com ERA Read More

Hi, Yes both need to be a SPR to buy HDB. Alternatively, your husband might want to consider a 1-BR condo. This way would be faster in getting your own home earlier. Let me know if you need my help to search for your dream home. Best Regards, J.A.Goh, HP: 96390350  , Email: gohja@singnet.com.sg Read More
