My husband bought a 4-room flat during his first marriage which was later transferred to his ex-wife. Can we buy a 3-room flat with HDB loan?

Shelley,

Your husband have enjoyed one times HDB loan, which he sold the unit to his ex-wife, in terms of transfer.
If you had not enjoyed more than two times HDB loan, you and your husband should be able to get a resale 3 room flat, with a HDB loan.
But you do need to note on the income ceiling and the cash component payable by your husband, if any, from the HDB.
