My husband and I bought a 4room BTO where we later gave birth to 3 kids. Now we wish to apply bto second time to a 5 room. can my husband and I apply under Third Child Priority scheme? Or is this scheme only for first-timers? We can also apply under MCPS as my in-laws stay within 4km of the project we want. Which one should we apply under to stand a better chance? Thank you.

Hi, for the scheme I believe it should be applicable to you. Depending on your needs and requirements, both gives you additional priority, but I believe TCPS might benefit you more as your in-laws are not planning to get a BTO.

You can apply under 3rd Child Priority Scheme. Nevertheless, don't pin too much hope on this if you are going for those more popular locations. I had also tried to apply under this scheme but failed for 3 years until I finally decided to go for resale. It allows me to really plan for the location especially for school's considerations.
