I am afraid to inform you that you are unable to do as purchase of HDB requires a family nucleus. As both of you are married, one of you have to be the main applicant and the other at least an essential occupier.

Hi,

Unfortunately no, to be eligible for hdb resale, you have to purchase with your spouse name as a family nucleus since both of you are married. You can still purchase under your sole name another private property no issue.

As per your question , sorry to let you know the answers are not in your favour , you cannot buy a hdb with your child unless your husband sell his condo .

You and husband CAN buy a RESALE hdb and concurrently sell the condo .

CANNOT buy a new hdb immediately , need to wait out 30months .

Hi Mdm,

Unfortunately, you will not be able to purchase a HDB with your child as under the current HDB regulations, you will be required to form a family nucleus with your husband when you purchase a HDB flat. Your husband is also required to sell his private property within 6 months from the purchase of the HDB flat.

Good morning,

As you are married, you can only purchase the HDB unit with your spouse. In this case, it would also mean that he will be required to sell off the unit within 6 months from key collection.

I regret to inform you that you cannot buy a HDB flat with your child, unless you are divorced and have legal custody for your child.

You can however purchase under public scheme with your husband. Your husband will then have to sell off his private condo 6 months upon completion of the HDB flat purchase.
