My hubby and I have requested hdb to approve our upgrade to a 4rm before the MOP period due to health reasons and we have letters from doctors on this situation. Will we be successful? The reasons are my hubby needs to sleep with a sleeping device called a CPAC machine to ensure that he doesnt have sudden breathlessness and it is very noisy thus I have insommnia as a result. SGH does not want to give me any sleeping medicines as it is not advisable and we have a 7yr old son . We are hoping to each have our own room solving our sleeping problems. Morning Monica,

If you have fulfilled at least 3 y ears of MOP, the chances of appeal to upgrade to resale 4 room would be good. It might be tough as you need to attend interview and retrieve relevant medical records. You will also be require to see your MP for recommendation letter.
