My house was bought at $2.20k but with $40k grant for staying near my parents. Hence, we bought at 1.80k. Our house roughly can be sold about 4.70k at the current market for telok blangah for 4 room flats. We wanted to move to 5 room blocks at telok blangah after staying for 5 years. The 5 room may cost abt 550k to 600k. Can we afford it as we may have $120k of loan from hdb. Would hdb disapprove of our 2nd loan. Our total gross income is about 7k per mth. you have to consider following: using cash or cpf , monthly payment for the new unit.
