Hi Zhang Yao,

1) From the information I've got. The HDB now is trying to clear the huge amount of HFE applications.
2) Most of the HFE applications were not approved on the timeline as promised.
3) The HDB is putting its priority on that straightforward application while pushing all the appeals or those applications are not as straightforward behind.
4) So even if you manage to cancel the current one and put in a fresh application. You also won't receive the result within a short time.
5) And the thing is the HFE cannot be canceled ourselves but need the HDB officer to do it from their end. This will drag the timeline even further.
6) However, you may bring your case up to the HDB via the feedback channel and see whether they could assist: https://services2.hdb.gov.sg/webapp/BF12AWFeedback/BF12SFrontController?service=ServiceFeedback&operation=createFeedback

You will need to direct this to HDB itself as there is a huge backlog of HFE application approvals from my understanding. Any such renewals or cancellations have to go through HDB itself therefore you should go direct to HDB for clarifications.
