My HFE got approved and i saw there this under the Terms and Conditions.
5. Additional payments required for purchase of flat from HDB
Payment by households comprising only one SC and a non-resident spouse; or singles buying a flat on their own:
Payment of $15,000 premium
If you are eligible to purchase a 2-room Flexi Flat on 99-year lease, you must pay an additional amount of $15,000 on top of the flat price. If you are eligible to purchase a 2-room Flexi flat on short lease or a Community Care Apartment, you must pay an amount pro-rated according to the lease tenure chosen.
What is this? This 15K have to be paid on top of the resale hdb price??!
