My friend (35yo) and I (41yo) wants to buy a resale HDB under the Joint Singles scheme.
I understand that when we purchased from HDB, HDB will automatically deduct all the CPF from OA account.
How do we make sure that both of us contribute evenly with our CPF?

Hi,

If you take a HDB Loan, both your CPF will be wiped out. If you want to dictate the amount to be paid, you can go for a bank loan instead.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you and your partner in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Good morning,

If you are more concern about the share of contribution, you might want to proceed with the purchase using bank loan. However, if you insist on using HDB loan, there is anther possible alternative.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.

Hi,

There are basically 3 types of property ownership:
(1) Joint-Tenancy
(2) Tenancy-in-Common
(3) Sole ownership

For your case and concern, you should opt for (2), which can specify the percentage of each own for a start.
After that, both of you have to decide how much contribution for monthly instalment each has to contribute in order to be fair to the percentage own in the same property.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more queries, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.

Best regards
