My fiance (above 35 yo) purchased a resale HDB flat and took HDB grant last year. I don't own any property, and I am below 35 years old. Can we apply BTO, put myself as owner and put him as occupier? Can he sell his resale flat after the BTO flat is ready? And a 1st timer and 2nd timer couple will be considered as 1st timer or 2nd timer?

Hi,

1) Your fiance needs to fulfill his MOP before being eligible to apply for BTO with you.
2) Ask him to check from MYHDB using singpass to confirm when will his MOP expire.
3) He and you will still be considered as 1st time since you did not own any HDB flat before.
4) He will have to sell within 6 months of key collection for the BTO.
