Good afternoon Sir,

you will not be eligible for BTO as your fiancee owns an overseas property. She has to dispose it first and observe waiting period of 30 months before can apply for a BTO together.

You can opt for a resale HDB tho but she still has to dispose off her interest in overseas property within 6 months from purchase completion date.

Alternatively will to get a private property so she doesnt have to dispose off her overseas property.

Hope my sharing helps in aiding in your enquiry. May I know how can I value add further in your property needs?

Best regards,

YT Tan

You fiancées will be required to remove her name as owner for the house in Malaysia, wait for a period of 30 months before you can be eligible to purchase a BTO or wait out a period of 15 months to purchase a resale HDB. You may wish to relook into options for private property. Read More
