My fiancée and I have recently collected our keys to a 4-room flat in SG. If both of us are to move to another country for work. Will our parents be able to occupy our flat while we are not around?

Good afternoon,

It should not be a problem but do take note that the period that both of you are not physically occupying the flat will not be counted into the minimum occupation period of 5 years. If both of you have thoughts to rent out or sell the whole unit in future, this must be fulfilled first before you are able to do so.
