My father own a hdb which is fully paid. I am the inherit to his asset that's include his property. And I own a private condo still financing the loan. What happen if my father deceased? Can I continue to keep the hdb flat?

Chances are you have to sell away the hdb upon inheritance of the flat, since you own a private property now. Thanks and hope to understand your housing plans further and assist.

Hi, if you do want to keep the HDB unit, then I'm afraid you will have to sell off the condo unit when that day comes.

Good evening,

You have two options if such happens.

1) keep current condo and sell HDB.
2) keep HDB and sell current condo within 6 months. Cant purchase any private property within 5 years minimum occupation period.
