Hi,

1) You have cut your story very short. Therefore can only guess what you are trying to ask. :-))
2) Your FIL wants his son who is your husband to buy over his HDB flat. Since you are married thus worry that your name is tied into this deal.
3) If your husband decided to buy the flat. You as the spouse must be in the HDB resale purchase application.
4) You can be the owner or just the essential occupier in the application. But you will still need to observe the 5 yrs MOP.
5) During this period, you are not allowed to invest a private residential property locally or overseas.
