my brother and mother co-own a HDB flat. My mother is demented and my brother is not mentally sound. My brother was previously warded in IMH. He now wants to sell the flat. But that is a poor decision given his mental condition. It is also possible that our mother, who is near 90, will die before he does and hence leave him the sole-ownership of the flat. How can we stop him from selling his home?
